One of the most interesting moments in advertising land is almost there… the Super Bowl. Every year advertisers spent millions and millions on their TV-ads. Not only for the creation/production but also for the media space.
This year there is already some controversy about one of the ads. The ad of PETA is banned from TV. As you can see it shows several sensual situation, involving women and vegetables. A big no no if you follow the NBC rules. Remember Nipplegate?
I don’t get this. This is a pure act of hypocrisy! In a land where guns and violence are an everyday fact, nudity is out of the question and even banned from one of the biggest national broadcasting companies. Well, what they call nudity. Women in lingerie or bikini is not porn or nudity!
